I am a Research Associate at the University of Deusto (DeustoTech).

In 2026 I defended my PhD thesis, “Equity-Driven Gamification for Citizen Science: Adaptive Incentive Models for Spatial Justice and Environmental Engagement” (Engineering for the Information Society), which investigated equity-driven adaptive incentive models for spatial participation systems.

My primary applied context is the Horizon Europe project HARMONIE (Health Assessment Refinement for Mitigating Noise and Air Quality Effects, project ID 101238943), where I build and deploy gamified citizen science infrastructure to improve crowdsourced environmental data collection. More about HARMONIE: https://cordis.europa.eu/project/id/101238943

Current focus: turning thesis chapters into journal papers, formalizing a model of participation frontiers in spatial crowdsourcing, and extending GAME toward ML-driven adaptive strategies in participatory digital twin contexts.
